Mr. Trame was born in Breese, IL in 1945 and resided there through high school (Mater Dei Catholic High School). He received a B.A. from St. Louis University and his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law in 1969.
Mr. Trame began his legal career as an Attorney, Estate Tax and Appeals Officer with the Internal Revenue Service, U. S. Treasury Department (1969-1979). He has been in private practice since then, having joined this firm in 1982. He was formerly an instructor of Estate Planning and Taxation in the adult education programs of the Parkway and Rockwood School Districts in St. Louis County. He has been a frequent lecturer at seminars on the subjects of taxation and estate planning.
Mr. Trame is licensed to practice in all Missouri Courts, the U. S. District Courts in the Eastern & Western Districts of Missouri, and the United States Tax Court. He is a member of The Missouri Bar Association, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.
Mr. Trame concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Planning – Wills and Trusts; Probate and Trust Administration; Taxation, including planning and representation of taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service in audits and other matters; Business Entities – Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs; and Real Estate.
Mr. Trame resides in Chesterfield, St. Louis County, MO, with his wife, Diane. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.
